Mohammad Hassan Akbar Khan is a seasoned finance professional with over 18 years of proven success in the Accounting & Finance sector. He has held key finance roles at prestigious international brands, including The Westin Dhaka, Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, Mövenpick Sylhet, Radisson Blu Dhaka, Best Western Plus Runway, and Mana Bay Water Park.
His expertise covers end-to-end financial operations — from strategic budgeting, financial planning & analysis, SOP preparation and reporting to tax compliance, cost control, and financial systems integration. He has led multiple pre-opening projects, established Compensation and Benefit package,
procurement and Tax & VAT frameworks, and resolved high-stakes compliance challenges.
Mr. Hassan has certification in SOP writing and has led Financial & HR related SOP and Forms preparation during his time in Mana Bay Water Park. He also led Local SOP preparation in Radisson Blu Dhaka, The Westin Dhaka, and Best Western Plus Runway.
He holds a Master’s in Accounting, an MBA in Finance, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Taxation. He is also a Certified Income Tax Practitioner.
